MEP Project Manager (Germany)

Our client is looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager with a mechanical bias to join their data centre consulting team in Frankfurt, Germany, with significant travel across the EU.

You will play a key role in delivering large-scale data centre projects, ensuring the mechanical systems are designed, built, and maintained to the highest standards. The first project will be in Germany, with travel across Europe expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the implementation of mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, pumps, etc.) from planning through to completion.
• Overseeing the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of these systems.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical and structural engineers, for smooth project execution.
• Managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the process.

Essential Requirements:

• We are looking for a qualified Project Manager with a background in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Ideal candidates will have:
• HNC, BSc, or MSc qualifications in an engineering discipline.
• Proven experience managing large-scale industrial projects, particularly in mechanical services. Data Centre experience is highly desirable, though experience with complex systems for refineries, power plants, or manufacturing plants is also relevant.
• Strong expertise in managing projects from initial design stages through to construction and handover.
• Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and contribute to business development.
• Pre- and post-contract project management experience.
• EU passport preferred, though UK nationals with the right experience will also be considered.
